March 7th, 2009 admin No comments

The soccer becomes more interesting once you become aware of the rules of the game. This game of 90 minutes normal time play makes people go wild and crazy as they watch the game.  There is usually a 15 minutes between the first half and second half with each half taking 45 minutes.

Depending on whether the game is elimination or qualifying the game may be played beyond the 90 minutes. The elimination games begin from the quarter finals of soccer completion. In this case, if the teams  have equal  scores e.g 1-1, 2-2 etc or none has scored as against the other, then they will play for extra 30 minutes of 15 minutes extra first and 15 minutes extra second half.

If there is no score difference after this, then they will have to go for penalties.
